OWWA Recap

Building and maintaining long-term relationships is a core value at #C3Water. After two long years, we were all very excited to attend and participate in Ontario’s Water Conference & Trade Show. The conference was a great opportunity to see old friends, make new connections and share some of the exciting work that has been done since we were last together. Sammy Hiseler, Sabrina Chang, Alec Orr and Liam Connolly all gave excellent presentations which demonstrated the value and success that can be achieved when strong client relationships are a focus.

Extinguish Hunger!

Look for the C3 Water structure, “Extinguish Hunger” when you drop by Conestoga Mall between March 14-22, 2020. Support our team’s efforts to win the People’s Choice Award and DONATE to VOTE!

NOTE that given the updated recommendations from public health, the Canstruction sculptures were dismantled early on Monday, March 16.

Canstruction® Waterloo Region is a significant fundraiser for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region, last year providing over 128,000 meals to help feed those who need food assistance in Waterloo Region.  As such, they will continue to ask the community to Donate to Vote for their favourite structure online (https://www.thefoodbank.ca/canstruction-donate-to-vote/).  This year’s online voting will now remain open until March 29, 2020.   Food and financial donations raised through Canstruction® helps fill gaps in inventory especially over the next number of weeks as they are working with the community programs and agency partners to ensure continued support and service delivery to people in Waterloo Region accessing food assistance.

Hunger is a burning problem in our community. You may not see or smell the smoke, but it’s time to stop, drop, and roll out your support!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame…Thank you OWWA!

Thank you to OWWA for organizing the 2019 Member Appreciation Event at one of the most exciting Blue Jays game of the season, August 12, versus the Texas Rangers.

C3 Water staff and guests were in attendance for the 19-4 hitting extravaganza. The highlight of the game was when Emma and Mitch needed to flee from the last home run. While the ball was snagged by someone in the row behind, Emma ended up getting a commemorative photo!
